This was going across Death Valley.
Toni named this "Salt Flats".
Toni was a little late getting this sign but it was advertising the Shady Lady Brothel. We also saw a sign saying "Bar and Sluts". Nevada is a little different.
A cactus thingy.
We lacked 239 miles when she took this one.
More cactus plants. We loved the cactus plants.
Signs like this made the trip very exciting. No cows were seen though.
We met this military convoy.
What a curvy highway.
We came by a military installation out in the middle of nowhere.
This speaks for itself.
Walker Lake near the military installation. We thought about buying lakefront property here but it is 1800 miles away from our kids and grandchildren.
We hated to get back to the humdrum after all the previous excitement.
Another scary sign and this time it was a bull.
Finally! Something green!
There were several of these "chain up" signs on this road. Go figure. I guess it snows.
