Day 14 - A Day in Seattle

I thought Fort Worth drivers were bad. Seattle is a lot worse. We found a street with a sign "Caution - Weaving Traffic". And..............it was a valid warning.

I realized that we didn't bring the right kind of clothes (no rain gear) so we went to a mall to go to an Eddie Bauer store.  We bought a couple of rain jackets and a vest so I could layer up for the cold weather.  All I brought with us was a blue jean jacket and my leather coat.  Toni was smart enough to pack stuff to layer with.  I also was able to buy a new pocket knife so now I am complete again!

Afterward, we went to a micro brewery and I tried out a local adult beverage.

It is rains all the time!  I keep hoping it will dry up enough to ride one of my bikes.  The cool weather is nice but goodness...................a little sunshine would be nice too.  Just goes to show...............we humans are never happy.

When we first got here, the weather people were showing folks that were complaining about the lack of sunshine and warmth and we couldn't figure out why.  It hasn't taken us long to understand.
