It is Wednesday and we finally made it to Seattle. Our cruise leaves for Alaska this coming Sunday.
We got here around noon today, parked the camper, and went to get something to eat. We wanted to eat something different and the only thing near here (that was different) was a Korean restaurant.
We thought, what the heck, we would give it a try. Big mistake. We ordered the chicken box lunch and the pork box lunch, not having a clue what that was. It came out in 11 little bowls of all sorts of stuff that I can't name. We also got a platter of stuff that had 5 separate compartments. One compartment had the meat and another rice. I don't have any idea what the other three compartments were. But, we ate most of it. Oh, and some type of soup. The only untensil was a spoon and chop sticks. I told the waitress (who barely could speak any English) that we needed a fork. She brought each of us a plastic fork!
After we ate, we went into an Albertsons across the street from the Korean restaurant to buy a few things. The place smelled like a mixture of chicken poo and fish! Weird.
Our camp site is a little on the crowded side.
We had to keep our rigs on the inside of the yellow line. (the manager didn't think our pickup would fit). As you can see, we have plenty of room. ha. If it wouldn't fit, we would have to pay $6.00 extra to park it elsewhere.
This is the other side showing how well we fit!
Here is Toni demonstrating the spaciousness of our campsite as she enters our camper..
See!!! The door to the camper will nearly open all the way!!
You would have enjoyed watching me slip our little fifth wheel into this spacious site. Everyone in the park did. After we went to eat, I parked our pickup right ON TOP of the yellow line and now we can actually open the camper door all the way and we can let the steps all the way down so the first step isn't so high! What luxury. The good side is the fact that this is mainly just a place to store our camper and pickup while we are on the cruise. Yay!
