I started the morning sitting in front of the wheel alignment shop in Santa Fe. The place looked a little on the not so professional side so I hurried back to the camper. We hooked up and hauled our old tired behinds to Albuquerque to the Dodge house (after calling first to see if they could get us in).
When we got there, the service manager told us he didn't think they could get us in today. After putting on my best sad, whining face, they decided they would go ahead. It was either that or they would have to witness an old 66 year old man crying and screaming in their garage.
The mechanic that worked on it was very nice. He informed us that he was able to get the front end aligned to the point that it would be fine to drive but we needed to have a new axle housing installed when we got back. Ours is bent. Yay.
Finally on our way again. We are headed to the big gully (aka, the Grand Canyon). We made it to Gallup, NM and the weather here is wonderful.
YAY, US!! Praise be to the Lord! 200 miles farther down the road.
