Tracy Arm

This has been the best part of the trip so far.  The boat took a detour up Tracy Arm and the scenery was absolutely unbelievable.

This was first written while still in Juneau.  I hate tourist towns.  We are known to the locals as the boat people.

We love our ship and the cruise in general.  They are probably charging me to use my own Verizon broadband card so I had better get off.  It usually glows green when it is working probabaly or red when it needs charging but right now it is BLUE.  Go figure.  Blue probably means I will be feeling really blue when I see my bill.

Tracy Arm is a 19 mile inlet and the ship went up to the end and turned around and came back out.  These pictures will give you an idea of the grandeur of the area.

Again, don't forget to double and triple click on the pictures you like the best.  I have a lot more and hope to be able to learn how to make a nice album out of them for easier viewing.  The Lord certainly outdid Himself with the Tracy Arm!

This is a picture of a glacier at the end of the inlet, where we turned around.  This is a narrow inlet not a whole lot wider than the ship itself, which is 954 feet long, and the captain just slowly made a 180 degree turn!
