Day 16 - Finally rode my road bike (Seattle)

We are somewhat worn out so we think we will just sit here in our little bungalow.  We will be packing our clothes, cleaning our camper, and generally getting ready for our cruise.  It is raining here and 61 degrees so we can't do much anyway.

We have a limousine scheduled to pick us up at noon tomorrow to take us to the pier.  This is the most effective way to get there (ha, you didn't know I was a cost effective kind of guy, did you?).  They charge $20 per day to park a vehicle at the pier which would be $140 vs. $100 for two limousine trips.  What a deal, huh?!

In the afternoon after I wrote the above, I couldn't stand it any longer and decided to take a bike ride.  It was only 1 1/2 hours long but it made me feel a lot better!  Governor Perry needs to take lessons from the State of Washington.  They are very bike friendly with 5 foot wide bike paths almost everywhere and even bike/walking paths over major Interstates.  Drivers of automobiles stop to let you cross a street.  Perry is a creep for vetoing the bicycle bill.

I was actually happier than I looked here.

I just thought you might enjoy seeing the worn out Mercedes across from us.  This is a view through our camper window.  It was in the way of our backing into our wonderful RV site and we nearly couldn't get set up.  I asked the lady that owned it if she would mind moving it but it wouldn't even start.  What a piece.  We were able to push it forward just enough.  They now have an electric cord running into the trunk either so the captive within will have electricity for a fan or they are charging the battery.
