Skagway, Alaska

We went on a Jeep trip and drove 152 miles with Toni and me by ourselves in a new Jeep Wrangler.  The guide went in front and gave information to everyone by CB radio.  Most of the drive was on pavement but we did take one short little jaunt offroad up towards a pass.  Mainly, the offroad part was just a bumpy ride but the scenery was great.

This is a cute couple we found on this tour.  (handsome and cute)

One of the many waterfalls.  If you have seen one waterfall, you have seen more than one.

A nice lake.  Toni took this picture, which is very nice since it shows the reflection in the water.

We went into Canada and had to show our passports to get in.  Same thing when we came back.

This was at the entrance into the little town of Carcross, Canada.  This elk had quite big cahones and something hanging down  Apparently the town has quite a sense of humor.

There was a little desert outside of Carcross.  This cute couple kept showing up everywhere we went so we took their picture.

This is a picture of the cute couple by the sign welcoming us all back to Alaska.
When we got back to Skagway, we ate pizza at the Red Onion, a famous bar and bordello.  The food was great.  B&B in Alaska stood for Bordello above and Bakery below.

Afterward, we saw the show, “The Days of ’98 Show with Soapy Smith”.  The cast consisted of a villain, three dance hall girls of ill repute, a piano player, and me.  Part way through the show, they pulled me out of the crowd and I became the girls customer.  We went upstairs for a while!  They really liked me and had a fight over me.

These are the dance hall girls, left to right, Belle Davenport (Jeff's Smith's girl friend), Molly Plainclothes, Squirrel Tooth Alice, and Jeff Smith (who was a villain in real life).  Molly and Alice fell in love with me.

After getting me onstage, they danced for me and wooed me.

I was excited when they decided to take me upstairs!  Yay!

Afterwards, they brought me down, still in my night clothes!  How embarrassing!

They were agueing over who I loved the best.

Alice (seated) liked me best!  Or at least she said she did but you never know about those dance hall girls!

Alice decided it was time to take my night clothes off!  Wow! I'm proud I still had my street clothes on underneath.

As a "satisfied" customer, I was finally allowed to return to my seat!

They did a can can dance for us and the show was over.  The show actually had a story about the bad stuff Jeff Smith pulled and then he was finally shot to death but I was the star of the show (ha) so I posted mainly stuff with me in it.  It was a lot of fun!
