The day was spent just going to our first port, Ketchikan, Alaska. We ate until we couldn’t. The food is great. We attended a neat comedy/magic show as well as a variety show. We also observed a Zumba demonstration and Toni made a piece of jewelry.
We mainly ate at the buffet but once we went to a British pub for bangers and mash (Toni) and I had steak and kidney pie and a Guiness. All in all, it was good.
We played Bingo, spending $30 for some Bingo cards. Miracle of all miracles, we Bingoed and won $60.00! This helped to offset paying twice too much for a couple of coats we bought onboard. Like I say, “Hello country bumpkin”! Anyone but me knows better than to buy anything onboard! I know what you are thinking, “Boy, what a slow learner.”
The silly boat rocks all the time, which is a little hard to get used to. They say that the drunks are the only ones that can walk straight down the halls!
I didn’t know what a party animal I have been married to for 45 years. Toni dragged me to a nightclub to listen to the live music.
